Here is a private view of the Miuccia Prada’s dinner in Venice. Lucky you, since everybody has eyes on the Queen of the Adriatic those days. For the occasion of the 76th international film festival, one of the most celebrated red carpets in Europe, the Italian fashion designer, Miuccia Prada, was in Venice for other reasons than to dress some famous actors to promote her brand.
A dinner to celebrate Brigitte
Miuccia was herself having a short film presented as part of the Venice Film Festival’s Giornate degli Autori. The film called Brigitte is the 18th film part of the ongoing short film series Miu Miu Women’s Tales, directed by Lynne Ramsay.
Brigitte, directed by Lynne Ramsay, is a beautiful black and white interview with the legendary French photographer Brigitte Lacombe. Brigitte arrived in New York in the ’70s and has become the portraitist of cinema’s most inspiring directors, from Martin Scorsese to Sofia Coppola.
A Cinematographic location
Miuccia Prada hosted a dinner on the occasion of the short movie’s Brigitte screening within Venice Days to celebrate one more successful collaboration in the film field.
The dinner was held at the cinematographic Ca’ Corner Della Regina, a palace designed by Giuseppe Sardi in the second half of the 17th century, located on the Grand Canal.
Some of the most influential people from the cinema industry attended Miuccia Prada’s dinner. All dressed with the last Miu Miu Fall 2019 outfits. Miu Miu Fall 19 collection, is very young, a blend of innocence and sexiness, with beautiful details like bows, handmade embroidering, feathers and laces. The outfits are definitely festive and feminine with a drop of darkness—a real women’s tale collection.
The guest list
Gorgeous Miu Miu girls like Hailey Gates, Rooney Mara (Joachin Phoenix’s girlfriend), Margareth Qualley (daughter of actress Andie MacDowell), Chloë Sevigny and Lucy Boynton, just to name some of them.
