Heels are back, and we want to wear these right now Pre Fall 2021.
With fall just around the corner and lockdown and social distancing behind us, we’re ready to ditch the comfortable track pants and flip-flops to dress up again. And our current celebratory mood can be felt in the new footwear trend. So, to sum up, all we want to wear right now are the fabulous heels that fashion designers have brought back in the Pre-Fall 2021 collections. Yes, the glamorous high heels are back, and they come in all heights and shapes for fall and winter.

Soft transition
After such a long time wearing easy-to-slip flats, you may be a little unsure about going back to high heels. But, don’t worry, you can embrace the high heels trend and still walk comfortably. That is because the platform shoe trend from summer 2021 is here for the long haul, and you’ll keep wearing them in the next seasons too. Nevertheless, instead of espadrilles and clogs, the new platforms come in chunky Mary Janes at Versace and Moschino and bejewelled brogues at Simone Rocha and Loewe. You will also add some height with platform hiking boots and knee-high boots like the ones Prada, Stella McCartney, Bottega Veneta, and Molly Goddard presented for A/W 2021.
Medium heeled shoes
Step into fall in easy-to-wear medium heeled shoes that are both comfortable and elevated. As we saw at Lanvin, Gucci, and Rokh, you can wear practical block heels or sexy kitten heels that are perfect for chic office looks.
Carrie’s stilettos
The Y2K trend is back, with the new Sex and the City and Carrie’s famous stilettos. In addition, power pumps with killer heels were on most A/W 2021 and Pre-Fall runways. Balmain, Dries Van Noten, Gucci and Valentino are some of the luxury fashion houses that created pointed pumps and slingback shoes for you to conquer the world.
1920’s glitz
The 2020s are the new Roaring Twenties, so turn up the glamour with glitzy heels like Chanel’s crystal-embellished Mary Janes. In the same vein, we see Gucci slingback shoes with sparkling crystal logos, Valentino’s bejewelled pumps, and Prada’s platform boots covered in golden sequins. Wear the 1920s shoe trend and let the party begin!
Metallic boots
Besides high-heel boots in brown, black or white, metallic heeled boots will be everywhere next season. Isabel Marant, for example, took cowboy boots to the next level. Gucci, Balenciaga, Victoria Beckham, and Jil Sander also want your boots to sparkle in fall/winter 2021. So wear high-heeled silver or golden boots to feel like Barbarella or, why not, a space tourist floating in a rocket with Richard Branson.
