4 super chic and smart party season styles. Cheers!
The first thing you have to consider is that all (all, no euphemism) high street shops are clogged to the brim with sequined dresses, skirts, trousers, suits and shoes. It seems that the only party season style this year is sequin or anything sparkly. So, be careful when shopping for your party season look this year. To give you an idea, according to a UK survey of 2000 women, 14% had the bad luck of arriving at a party to find someone else wearing the exact same dress.
But you’re reading the right article; Notorious Mag is here to help you with four chic and original party season styles.

1- It’s time to shine
The year 2022 was another challenging year. Just open the newspapers or the bills that arrive in the mail. So fashion proposes, as an antidote, that we celebrate this year with glitter, glamour and pomp. That is why all the shops are offering everything sequin. The alternative to sequin, without losing the sparkle, are fabrics such as brocade and lamé, super 80s. Also, consider the timeless velvet, which is perfect for the cold weather, besides being shiny.
2- rich feathers
The roaring 20s, with feathers and embellishments, are pure glamour. Max Mara, Valentino, and Giambattista Valli are a few fashion designers who have incorporated feathers into their looks. Choose a pair of trousers, a top or even a feather bag for an edgy and chic party season style.
3- shimmering details
The style trick I like the most is betting high on the accessories. Earrings and brooches are safe options. But as we’ve already shown here in AW 22-23 trends, the 90’s choker is back with full force. So for a unique party season style, pair your LBD with a sparkling choker and a shimmer pump.
4- Sparkle with your makeup
End the year with a special glow. In this case, choose quality makeup. Too many sparkling shades end up spreading the shimmery effect to your whole face, which you don’t want to happen. After all, you’re going to a party, not to the carnival. Choose where you want the shimmer, on the eyes or the mouth, but don’t use shimmer all over your face. Just because it’s trendy in TikTok doesn’t mean you should wear it in real life. Chanel AW22-23 is a perfect example of using shimmer on the lips and exaggerating the mascara on the top and bottom of the lashes.
