London Fashion Week has just wrapped up after a busy schedule of physical and live-streamed runway shows presenting fantastic collections for spring/summer 2022. And to sum up, here’s an overview of the best 2022 looks British designers and UK-based fashion labels presented in London. From Erdem, Simone Rocha and Vivienne Westwood to Molly Goddard and Roksanda, the spring/summer 2022 trends promise cheerful, sophisticated and very wearable outfits indeed. So, check our favourite collections and runway looks from LFW SS22 to know what you’ll wear next year.
Victoria Beckham
The starting point of Victoria Beckham‘s SS22 collection at LFW was the designer’s husband, David Beckham, and other elegant men‘s pulled-together wardrobes. As a result, the designer showed chic androgynous sartorial looks worn with high-platform peep-toe shoes.

Roksanda
Dancers presented Roksanda‘s SS22 collection at LFW inspired by the German choreographer Pina Bausch. Consequently, the colourful and voluminous clothes came with flowing shapes and fringes. Additionally, the designer also created oversized suits and other easy-to-wear pieces in fabulous colours.

Emilia Wickstead
The British designer found inspiration for her Spring/summer collection in the 1961 French New Wave movie Last Year in Marienbad. Her signature romantic looks were present at LFW SS22 in a glamorous collection with timeless silhouettes and lean waistlines in a rich colour palette.

Molly Goddard
Molly Goddard SS22 collection is, above all, comfortable, probably inspired by her pregnancy before LFW. We saw tops embellished with smock embroideries and tulle dresses paired with wide-legged jeans or comfy tracksuits and bucket hats. Finally, were the coats with big bows and bright-coloured cardigans a reference to her four-month-old baby?

Preen by Thornton Bregazzi
The British fashion brand mixed black and white checked and striped dresses with bright-coloured separates, ruffled tops and patchwork knits inspired by the static rainbow test strips that appeared on TV in the ’80s at the end of the broadcast to remind us to leave the screen in these Netflix binge-watching times.

Bora Aksu
The muse of Bora Aksu’s SS22 collection was the eccentric Dutch socialite Mathilde Willink, and her glamorous ’70s looks were re-interpreted for LFW. So, naturally, Aksu showed at London Fashion Week colourful looks, ruffled dresses, capes and wide-legged trousers with flower applications.

Vivienne Westwood
And lastly, no LFW would be complete without Dame Vivienne Westwood. Her SS22 sustainable garments took us back to her unique 1998 collection, “Tied to the Mast”. Like a pirate’s shipwreck fantasy, the iconic mother of punk presented nautical stripes, corsets and Westwood’s signature tailored pieces in the British heritage tartan.
