Cannes 2017: The Best And The Worst Off The Red Carpet

Like every year, Cannes is a great excuse to check out some tasty red carpet shots. Not as over-the-top as the Met Gala, but for us more sophisticated than the Oscars, the Cannes 2017 red carpet did not fail to surprise when it came to some interesting gowns (& co.) to peer at. Here is our nifty selection.

YES: It’s all about the shoulders

Michelle Williams was stunning in a simple yet effective Louis Vuitton gown, with shoulder coverage to spare.

YES: Unicorns

If you say Elle Fanning and Vivienne Westwood in the same sentence, we’re down. Especially if the dress in question is named ‘unicorn dress’.

YES: Greek goddesses

Is it a vestal? Is it a greek goddess? No — it’s Lily-Rose Depp looking A-stunning before the Opening Gala. Curls included in the package.

NO: Showing way too much leg, again

Susan, we love you, but this is the second time in a row. And it is well known we are not fans of anything that even vaguely reminds us of naked dresses. Call us prudish.
