The prime time serial is the first ever fictional series produced by Servus TV and it is going to be broadcasted there. The filming started in May in and around Vienna, co-starring Michou Friesz, Laurence Rupp, Christoph Luser and Julia Franz Richter. As the female leading part, she embodies Alexandra Winkler, which unexpectedly inherited a stud farm. From then the trouble begins…
It’s always exciting to play a character that has only 10 percent of my personality or appearance. In this case, the Arab Sheik was the perfect role for me.
Your preparation for the role?
As an actor, I sort of always read someone’s mind, what requires much sensitivity. I’m not only interested in the people’s ways of life, I also need to get a feel for their background and their culture. To take over an identity is definitely an exciting challenge for me. Look-wise, this year was really fun for me so far: In February I was starring in an Italian Horror movie for which I grew a beard. After that, I didn’t shave it because I wanted to keep it for a role at Burgtheater. Then, the offer for “Vollblut” came and I knew it was the right decision not to shave.
