Now that the urban rhythm has restarted and we are all pretty much into the working schedules again, it might be a good idea to start planning your weeks in advance in order to make the best out of your Monday-Fridays in the most mature way. No one likes heading back to work after an amazing trip to the beach, but unfortunately, we have to work to pay the next trip to that beautiful beach you really love.
There are some basic tips a young adult in her 20 something or 30s should consider to plan the week in advance and be as productive as possible.
#1 Clean up your working space. There is nothing more annoying like working in a messy space. Mess, however, depends on each person’s way of seeing things and personal taste. Creative minds tend to be sometimes messier when more technical geniuses tend to be more systematic.
#2 Prepare your week lunch plan. This will not only help you save money through out the week but also time. If you are smart enough to have everything ready the night before, you will always find extra time to see an extra chapter of your favorite series (hurrah!) or extra time to chill while your office colleagues run to the nearest supermarket to get themselves a lifeless triangle sandwich.
#3 Check-list and stock up on supplies. Depending on where you live, going grocery shopping on a Sunday might be a good or bad idea, but what is definitely a smart plan is to have all the things ready for the week. This will definitely help you with the timing and the organization of the week. You will never have to run from your yoga class to the supermarket again.
#4 Plan your #OOTD for the week. This is another tiny tip that will save you some glorious time in the morning. This will mean that you can either sleep longer or actually enjoy your coffee while you send your brain the signals of waking up. No more arriving to the office with the bed sheets marked on your cheeks.
#5 New inspirations. Look for new DIYs you can potentially do throughout the week since you will be saving some time with the above tips. Home DIYs always make you feel better and give a small push to the rest of the week. If your home already looks like the Ikea catalog, look for hair inspirations or new street style looks that inspire you. This will keep you excited for the week. Sunday shopping anybody?
